FFC06 ~ Retro Theme ~ Week 2...

Hello, Festive Friday Fans!  Welcome to week 2 of this theme challenge...

It's been fun to visit and see/hear everyone's take on 'retro'! Sounds like it's been a true challenge for some of you!  If you're still wondering about just what 'retro' should look like...take a look at how these participants have approached it...

You probably remember this look by Rema...the hand painted looking images we used to see, paired with bold, almost over sized prints in classic Christmas colors!  Love how the images and prints balance one another out on this, too! Perfection, Rema!

Or how about this look by LeAnne...a totally different approach than Rema's...but it still takes us back...to those sweet little doll-faced images.  And, doesn't her sentiment and patterned paper fit so nicely with both the image and the 'retro' feel?!? Love it LeAnne!

Carol took on yet another 'retro' look by incorporating these CAS ornaments.  I saw lots of this style when I was searching out 'retro' images, and I remember when that dusty aqua was a 'new' and trendy color.  Great idea to allow the ornaments to hang 'out of the box', too, Carol! Love this card!

Thanks for your inspiration, Ladies!  Be sure to contact Meredith at delightfulwaste@gmail.com for your blog badge if you don't already have one!

And, if that's not enough inspiration for you, here's a little more from the team...

First, Melissa...

                                Sarah...

                                 Geri...

and Meredith...

So, what are you waiting for???  You have until Wednesday, April 24th,(11:59 PST) to show us your interpretation of 'retro' on this post!  (Please remember to link up your retro post and not your just your blog address.) Hope to see you in the gallery!!
Have a great weekend!!!
