FINAL CHALLENGE OF 2013!

Welcome back Festive Friday fans!

We can't believe it, but the time has already come to launch our final challenge for 2013! It seems like just yesterday we were announcing a new kid on the challenge block, and that we were making our team introductions to you, and here we are, closing in on the Holidays! 21 challenges later, and we are ecstatic to see that our players are all celebrating their stash of cards, enjoying the lack of stress to get them made and mailed. Our goal at Festive Friday is to help you stay on top of your Christmas cards so you can relax and enjoy the season, rather than one more thing to tackle on the already demanding list of to-dos... and we're thrilled that so many of you are reaping the rewards!

Since it's our last challenge, we want to go out with a bang before taking a break until the New Year... so we're offering up some prizes! There are two prizes up for grabs:

PRIZE #1

For one of our faithful players, we are offering up a Grand Prize of a $60 gift card to your favourite online shop! You must have participated in at least 15 of our 20 previous challenges to qualify for this prize - we had so many regular and devoted players, we really wanted to extend our gratitude to you!

PRIZE #2

For all of the players of this final challenge, we are offering a Top Prize of a $20 gift card to your favourite online shop! Anyone who participates in the final challenge is qualified to win the prize!

This time around we're doing things a bit differently - instead of posing a challenge to you, we're asking you to pick your favourite challenge from the past year, and create something new! That's the only rule; you must upload a *new* project! You can find the graphics from all of the challenges under the tab at the top of the page!

Each of the Design Team ladies has created something with their favourite challenge from the year, and we'll just run this post for 2 weeks (no mid-week inspiration this time), so it's easy for you to enter as many times as you like!

Sadly, this is Amber's last post with us... she's been on hiatus for the past few months, as she took a break from blogging, but she's back to say farewell with one last challenge. She won't be back with us in the New Year, and we'll miss her, but it's so exciting to see the path she's taking!

FFC19 - Week 2 Inspiration and Star Winners...

Welcome back to another week of Whimsical Holidays!

I'm sorry this post is late - my kids and I are all fighting some pretty major colds, so I've been lacking the energy and brainpower to do much more than fold the laundry! Even then, who am I kidding? *wink*

FFC19 - Theme Challenge...

When I picked this theme for one of our challenges, I knew right away who would make the perfect Guest Designer. So joining us for her second challenge with us is my friend, and whimsy-extraordinaire, Elena Roussakis from Just ME!

I drink lots of coffee. Lots. I’ve been happily married for nine years. I’m a 30-something mom of three kids under the age of seven. When I’m not playing dress-up or cooking or cleaning the same messes for the 26th time in the same day, I like to make pretty things.

FFC15 - Theme Challenge...

Welcome back to another new challenge at Festive Friday! It's hard to imagine that we're in the middle of August already... before we know it, we'll be addressing these cards we've been creating all year!

It's time for a Theme Challenge again, and this time, we're making card for the youthful recipients on our list... this one can be interpreted in many different ways, as you'll see from our team!

Hi everyone!  My name is Amy Kolling.  I am so excited to be here and share my project with you!  I am a full time dialysis nurse, am married, and have 2 adorable kids.  I've been stamping for over 12 years now and it's become something I enjoy doing every day.  It's MY thing.  I've been blessed to have worked with so many companies over the years, have met so many online friends that I truly don't know what I'd do without, and accomplished several crafty goals this year.......Stamping Royalty to name one!

FFC10 - Week 2 Inspiration...

Welcome back Festive Friday fans! It's our second week of the current theme challenge, and I am here to share some more inspiration from our design team with you!

There are some changes coming to the Festive Friday challenge... now that we've been doing these challenges for half the year, we've seen some areas for improvement, and some kinks to work out, and we will start implementing those in the next few weeks. 

One of the changes we've made starts this week - we will now be doing shout outs and winners in a post of their own, separate from actual challenge posts. Look for that post next week! We felt that some of the posts were a bit bulky, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to play along.

Welcome back to a new challenge here at Festive Friday! We were excited to see so many wonderful entries into our last challenge, it was difficult as always to choose our favourites. But we did it, and today we have some more shout outs from our Red, Green and Gold colour challenge, as well as our winner! Let's get to it...

We loved the way Cassandra used these traditional colours to create a very graphic, modern card.
