FFC01 - Colour Challenge

The wait is finally over... it's time for our very first challenge here at the Festive Friday Challenge Blog! I am excited and terrified all at once, but with such an amazing group of ladies behind me, I am hopeful you'll be inspired to join along with us!

To share our excitement in the launch of our new challenge, we are doing a couple of giveaways. For the first one, all you need to do is become a follower! Or, if you sign up to follow through email, leave a comment on this post to be entered into the draw. For the second one... well, read to the bottom of this post for details!

This week we are issuing a colour challenge, and ask you to create your project using the following:

Here is what our design team has created with this week's challenge:

Meredith MacRitchie
And this month, we are joined by the amazingly talented Elena Roussakis from her blog, Just ME.

I drink lots of coffee. Lots. I’ve been happily married for nine years. I’m a 30-something mom of three kids under the age of seven. When I’m not playing dress-up or cooking or cleaning the same messes for the 26th time in the same day, I like to make pretty things.

Here is her stunning creation:

Thank you so much to Elena for helping us kick off our first challenge with her *stunning* creation. Isn't it gorgeous?

This week we're offering a prize to anyone who plays along!

Some embellishments and stamps to help you get on top of your holiday crafting!

Now it's your turn! Create any holiday themed project utilizing the above shades as your main colours and link us up below! You can combine our challenge with your other favourite challenges, and enter as many times as you like. This challenge will run until February 13, 2013 at 11:59PST. We will post our favourites when the next challenge goes live!

***Please remember to link up your actual blog post and not just your blog address!***

***As it takes time for our designers to visit your blog, please consider shutting off your captcha so that we might be able to more easily leave you some love!***

This is a great idea. I'm thinking of making Christmas cards all year long because after 2012 Christmas ended, I didn't want to stop making Christmas cards. It will also avoid the crazy rush during the holidays.
