2013 Final Challenge WINNERS!

ETA: I mistakenly wrote $40 as our grand prize, and it was supposed to be $60. I've made the change below!

It's finally that time of the year... we're all finished our challenges here at Festive Friday for 2013 (we'll be back, don't you worry!), and it's time to pick our winners!

We are still working our way through your entries... we had a record breaking number of participants this time around, and as you can appreciate, the design team is also very busy with holiday preparations... so please be patient while we work our way through your beautiful creations!

Now, let's get to it, since we know why you're really here!

The WINNER, chosen by random.org for the $20 Gift Certificate to an online craft store of their choosing is...

#11 - Sandy!

And the GRAND PRIZE, chosen by random.org from our faithful players (who entered at least 15 of our challenges throughout the year), winner of a $60 Gift Certificate to an online store of their choosing,  is...

#83 - Anja Curvers!

Congratulations ladies, we are thrilled for you! Please email Meredith at delightfulwaste@gmail.com so we can work out your prize details.

Now, I must take a minute and thank my amazing Design Team... I had this little idea a year ago, that maybe I could take this little weekly post I did on my personal blog and turn it into a challenge. I thought for sure that no one would be interested, so I reached for the stars and asked a group of designers, whose work I loved, if they'd even consider working with me. I can't even tell you the disbelief when they all said yes! I wish I could properly articulate how I feel about them working so hard to see this challenge blog grow, and giving me their amazing creations to share with you each week.

And even though she'll give me grief for it, I must give an extra shout out to Geri, my wonderful friend, who has been my top cheerleader throughout this entire experiment, and who is such a constant source of support and encouragement. She also contributed to the prize amounts given out today, and for that, I can't thank her enough! Geri was the first person I approached to say "Do you think this is crazy?" and she never let me look back - for that I am so grateful!

To the rest of the ladies, including Amber, who has moved onto to new adventures, I am still constantly in shock that you're all with me on this ride, and that you thought my little idea was worth your time and efforts. Ardyth, who is always a great sounding board, and works so hard to make sure all of our players know we're watching them. Sarah, who sends me cards in the middle of the night because she squeezed in crafty time just for our challenge, after her family all went to bed. Melissa, who is always so sweet and insanely humble for being so amazingly talented. THANK YOU!

There are some changes coming to the challenge in the New Year, and we can't wait to share them with you! Until then, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

MERRY CHRISTMAS from us to all of you!

See you in 2014!!

Well done to the winners! And thank you so much to Meredith and her lovely team, who tirelessly worked to make this one of my fave challenges to play with in 2013... I enjoyed it throughout and for the times I didn't get chance to take pics and enter the cards I made, well, let me tell you I was there in spirit and always inspired ;)

Merry Christmas to all of you and I have to thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful challenge and all of the inspiration it provided me throughout the year! It is the first time that I have not been scrambling to make cards for gift giving and it made my Christmas easier and more fun! Plus it kept the spirit of CHRISTmas in my heart all year long which is also a lovely gift!
I look forward to next year with jingle bells on! :)
